We offer a very personal level of service in what is also our family home situated on a working grazing property.

Situated 20 kilometres from the small hamlet of Mitta-Mitta, and just over an hours scenic drive from Albury-Wodonga , we also offer a courtesy pick up service from Mitta-Mitta Airstrip

You are always assured of a peaceful visit as we have a maximum number of guests set at four. This ensures an intimate experience of the Australian bush and it’s surroundings.

As guests, you will have access to ten kilometres of private water along Callaghan’s Creek, and several local privately owned spring fed dams.
Other local waters include the renowned Mitta-Mitta river, The Snowy Creek and all their tributaries. Dartmouth Dam offers excellent fishing, as does the regulating pondage that even offers polaroiding in suitable conditions.

The bush surrounding Callaghan’s Creek Lodge abounds with wildlife. Wombats are extremely common, and Kangaroos, Wallabies, Emus, Platypus, Echidnas, deer and a large number of small marsupials abound. The bird life is also rich and varies extensively with the seasons.

There are a number of roads and trails suitable for walking and mountain bike riding. Hybrid bicycles are available for loan at the lodge.

Gold pans are available for you to try your panning skills in the creek, as some alluvial gold was missed by the miners, and remains to be claimed.
