This little drama took place when we moved into the central tower of "Willsmere", formally known as the the Kew Lunatic Assylum.

Well ! - you may say. The problem was getting our loved Shimmel upright to the first floor. Unfortunately several years later we sold Willsmere and moved permanently to Mitta Mitta necessitating a reverse of the piano shift. The good news was that the Shimmel survived together with the trip to Mitta and a retune.

We found a good home for the Shimmel and acquired a new Grand when space became available.
