Amazing Mt Bogong

We’re so lucky that Wombat Gully is close to Victoria’s highest mountain, Mt Bogong.  And behind this mountain, the Bogong High Plains. Some of the most amazing vistas we’ve seen in Australia at our doorstep and waiting to be photographed!  We have walked up and also managed to ride up on horse-back and this time a more sedate flight, best towards the end of the day.  Bogong is 1986m (6516ft) AMSL and covered in snow most years from May to late November.
